The secrets of body statics disclosed in 12 thoracic vertebrae

This essay intends to cast a new and different vision on the mechanisms involved in the genesis of body balance disharmonies. To that end, we rely on the basic fundamental mechanical principles that govern the system we are part of and represent.Taking into account basic mechanical principles like fulcrums, lever arms, fixed or mobile points should help us back up our reasoning on a logical basis. They can be applied at all times in both diagnosis and therapy for a faster and better recovery of our patients.The demonstrations realised in this essay are not in any way exhaustive and only given as examples. But they can serve as a basis for an out of the box thinking.Far from minimising the extremely rich findings of our colleagues, this original view, though slightly different from what we have been taught, should harmoniously blend in and hopefully add another brick to the bastion of osteopathy.
